VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AT THE MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY
Central Administration
The Central Administration Department is the Secretariat of the Municipal Assembly and it shall be responsible for the provision of support services.
Budget & Rating
They shall facilitate the preparation and execution of the budget of the Municipal Assembly
Physical Planning
The department is in charge of given out Building permits and also performing all duties of the town and country planning as by law established
Finance
The Department is responsible for the sound financial management of the Municipal Assembly's resources
Social welfare and Community Development
They shall assist the Assembly to formulate and implement social welfare and community development policies within the framework of national policies
Works Department
This Department is a merger of public works department, feeder Roads and water and Sanitation unit, department of Rural Housisng and the Works unit of the Assembly
Agriculture
They ensure the sustainable development of Agriculture in the Municipality
Health
The Health Sector within the Municipal level consists of the office of the municipal medical officer and the Enviromrntal Unit
NADMO
They assist in planning and implementation of programmes to prevent and/or Mitigate disaaster in the Municipal within the framework of National Policies
Birth and Death Registry
They ensure that Birth and Death certificate are been given to the various people in need of it
Radio Room
They shall receive all information regarding to the Assembly on Air, through their Radio link
Development Planning
They are there to facilitate the planning activites of the assembly and ensure they are well executed
National Service
The Office is incharge of handling all National service issues as to their registration nad submission of forms and reports
Ghana Education Service
They shall facilitate the preparation and execution of all the Educational activities of the Municipal Assembly
Marriage Office
They in charge of Marriage registration and anything documentation regarding Marriage.
Birth and Death Office
They are in charge of Birth and Death registration within the municipality.
