1. Give directives, supervises, and provides guidelines to all DECENTRALISED AND NON-DECENTRALIZED DEPARTMENT in the Municipality.
2. Ensure effective mobilization of all available resources for the development of the Municipality through effective planning and budgeting.
3. Ensure for the development implementation and management of human settlement and the environment.
4. Provide basic services and basic socio-economic and recreational infrastructure facilities.
5. Collaborate with Security agencies to ensure law and order and safety of the people.
6. Promote productive activity and remove all barriers to public facilities.
