The Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal, Wisdom Osei Boamah, has commenced the distribution of food items to mosques across the municipality in support of Muslims observing Ramadan.

The items distributed include rice, cooking oil, sugar, Milo, and other essential supplies to assist the Muslim community during the fasting period.

The initiative is aimed at promoting unity, compassion, and social support among residents, while easing the burden on Muslim families as they observe the holy month.

Speaking during the exercise, the MCE emphasized the importance of religious harmony and community support, noting that such interventions help strengthen bonds among diverse groups within the municipality.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and a reflection of the Assembly’s commitment to inclusive development and care for all residents.
